In Conversation with David Sosa
Inside Episode 10 with David Sosa
David Sosa, a New York-based singer and songwriter, has been singing since he was one. Early on, David was introduced to musical stylings such as opera, jazz standards, and Broadway, allowing him to build an eclectic taste and multi-genre performances.
While sonically contemporary, David’s musical influences stemmed from R&B, which grew outward into the soul music of the 60s and 80s. Powerhouses such as Luther Vandross and Donny Hathaway to prominent women like Patti Labelle, Mariah Carey, and Rachelle Ferrell significantly added to Sosa’s soundscape.
David’s album, Journey To Love, released September 30, 2020, with a debut on iTunes’ top 100 R&B albums, at #3. Journey To Love was preceded by two singles entitled “Laugh” and “Let Me Know,” featuring rapper Lyteral.
